Working with other Christians

The Church of England is only one of the branches of Christianity. There are many other Christian groups (called 'denominations'), both in our city region and worldwide, such as Catholics, Methodists, Pentecostals, Baptists, United Reform, Salvation Army - the list goes on!

Ecumenism

Our expressions of Church and beliefs may be slightly different, but we enjoy good relationships with other denominations and often work together to show God's love to our local communities. Working towards Christian unity across different denominations is called 'ecumenism'. Some of our parish churches are run as ecumenical partnerships between the Church of England and another Christian denomination.
