The Walter Hall Lectures are named after the founder of Methodist Homes (MHA), the Rev Walter Hall, whose passion and determination that led to the creation of MHA. Today, we care for and support over 18,000 older people in our 90 care homes, 70 retirement living and 63 community-based Live at Home schemes, all helping older people live later life well.

This is the first of a series of four annual lectures, designed to focus attention on the complex and pressing needs facing older people today.The speaker will also concentrate on intergenerational responsibility, especially in the area of funding and support in later life.
