USPG is seeking to engage with the Anglican Churches of Britain and Ireland on a variety of levels, offering insight, inspiration and challenge from partners around the world to the church at home. Post-ordination and post-licensing training is an important focus of their offering, as they engage with the newest clergy and lay leaders in Britain in the important area of global mission. They offer one session, half day or whole day courses in global mission, free of charge, as part of this. They are currently taking bookings for the 2018 – 19 academic year. If you would like to explore this further, please email email@example.com
USPG provides opportunities to participate in the life of one of their partner churches, through our ‘Journey with Us’ overseas placement scheme; they also provide ‘Expanding Horizons’ grants for ordinands, lay leaders and clergy who are going overseas as part of their training or on a sabbatical/study leave. Please see http://www.uspg.org.uk/travel/ for further details.
USPG also hold an Annual Conference: this year the theme will be ‘All Things are Possible’, based on the Sustainable Development Goals’, from 2nd – 4th July, in High Leigh Conference Centre, Hertfordshire. If any of clergy and or lay leaders are interested in this, you can book at http://www.uspg.org.uk/conference/
Finally you can join with USPG and our partners in prayer through their Prayer Diary downloadable from: http://www.uspg.org.uk/pray/
