Being elected by your church to the Deanery Synod means representing your churches mission and ministry at Deanery level. The Lay Deanery Synod Chair works closely along the Area Dean providing strategic leadership to decisions made by Rep’s, about resource allocation and opportunities for collaboration across your Deanery. In the new People & Places framework, resources include Context Ministry.

Your Deanery's Synod is an important part of the structure and culture of the whole Church of England. Its meetings are concerned with seeking God’s will for the mission and ministry of the church, where you are.
