Prayer

There are lots of great prayer resources online. We've compiled a few lists of prayerswebsitespodcasts and apps in this area of the site. Please do email the Comms Team if you have others you'd like to add to this list.

Praying Together

Praying Together

Each quarter a prayer diary called 'Praying Together' is produced.

The diary includes:

• A note from Bishop David
• Prayers for every day from around the Diocese
• Special Sunday entries
• Anglican Communion Prayer Calendar

"My hope is that by praying for each other and by hearing stories from churches around the Diocese our unity in Jesus Christ will be deepened and we will see ourselves as brothers and sisters working together in the mission of God." (Bishop David)

“If we want to see things changed, it starts with prayer. It starts with a new spirit of prayer, using all the traditions, ancient and modern. When it comes, it will be linked to what has gone before, but it will look different – because it is a new renewal for new times. God’s created community is perfectly designed for its time and place. It almost always comes from below. It comes from Christians seeking Christ.” Archbishop Justin Welby
