The Venerable Dr David Lee, a former Director of Mission here in Birmingham, is to take on a part-time lead role as Acting DDO from 19 September in the Church of England - Birmingham. David will work alongside Revd Emma Sykes and Revd Paul Hinton who will be part-time Acting Assistant DDOs from the same date. We look forward to benefitting from their ministry until interviews and a new permanent appointment is made in the Autumn.

Having recently retired as Archdeacon of Bradford, David brings a wealth of mission experience in Birmingham and other urban settings. Emma is the Associate Missioner at St Michael’s, Boldmere and works with CPAS as their Leadership Specialist with a focus on young vocations. Paul is the vicar of St Hilda’s, Warley Woods and both he and Emma are already serving on Birmingham’s Vocations Team.

Please pray for them all as they take on these roles.
