CIGB is inviting applications for new Trustees from Christians who have experience of working in business, the public or voluntary sector, and are interested in helping working people to see that God is engaged with their lives.
CIGB is an ecumenical Charity that has been providing Workplace Chaplaincy across Birmingham and Solihull, and helping churches to engage with issues of Economic Development, for over 40 years. We have over 50 chaplains, a Development Director and an Administration Officer.
CIGB is overseen by a Management Council of representatives from churches and workplaces, and meets about four times a year, plus an Annual General Meeting. Trustee meetings currently take place as breakfast meetings 8am-9:30am at 1 Colmore Row, in the centre of Birmingham.
The current trustees recognise that they need further experience in areas of communications and public relations, income generation, and understanding business/voluntary/public sector needs.
