Energy campaign, fire safety, insurance guide, photocopiers and GDPR

"Switching to responsible sources of electricity may seem like a small thing on its own, but when joined together it can make a real difference."

Bishop of Salisbury, Nicholas Holtam

As we approach Creationtide there are campaigns going on all over the country for our churches to go green.

Join the thousands of churches buying 100% green electricity through the Parish Buying Energy Basket. The energy comes from UK-based renewable sources, mostly from solar panels.

Worried about the cost?

Our Energy Basket provides 100% green electricity for the same price as 'brown' energy. Our procurement team used the bulk buying power of the Church, and worked with the Basket provider to allocate a proportion of their renewable supply to match the energy we need to buy for churches.

Wholesale energy prices hit a near four year high this month. At Parish Buying we purchase energy throughout the year, in several large chunks. The good news is that we have already bought almost half the energy for the 19/20 Energy Basket. Our team were alert when the market briefly offered a remarkable price, and we took advantage. Now is a good time to join.
