Holy Trinity history book

This long-awaited fully illustrated book, to be published by The History Press, brings together the story of the church building, the many links between the church and the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield and the stories of people across the centuries – clergy, land-owners and ordinary people who worshipped here.

It builds heavily on the work of former historians like Margaret Gardner and Norman Evans. There are contributions from Elizabeth Allison, Marian Baxter, Carol Hoare and Sue Ingley, and a foreword by Roger Lea, one of the most celebrated historians of Sutton Coldfield in our time, who was also a leading adviser to the work of a Heritage-Lottery-Fund grant-aided programme at Holy Trinity, which enabled this work to be undertaken at last. Many others have helped in different ways and are acknowledged in the text.
