The Collect
Lord Jesus Christ,
we thank you that in this wonderful sacrament
you have given us the memorial of your passion:
grant us so to reverence the sacred mysteries

and show forth in our lives
the fruits of your redemption;
for you are alive and reign with the Father
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

We give thanks today for her dedication in the role of Head of State, and for the way in which her Christian faith shines through all she is, and does, and says.

Lord, we thank you that through your Holy Spirit you sustain the whole world.
We pray for leaders of every nation, and today especially for Elizabeth our Queen.
We thank you for her steadfast commitment to public duty across so many decades,
and for her Christian witness in her life and work.
Guide her with your wisdom,
