Free ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ resources!

27th March 2018

There are three small prayer booklets for you, or members of your church, to collect for your church in time for Thy Kingdom Come, 10-20 May 2018. This was a recent and unexpected opportunity given to us by Thy Kingdom come via CPO.

The booklets are freely available from:

  • Birmingham Cathedral after the Chrism Eucharist on Maundy Thursday (29th March only)
  • Floor 8 Reception area at One Colmore Row (until the 9th May)
  • Helena Moss on Floor 7, One Colmore Row

Bags will be provided at the collection points. Please do choose a selection and take as many as you think you can distribute within your parish!

So that you can decide in advance which booklet(s) would suit your parish best, click below to view the resources online:

Morning and Evening Prayer - an easy to use booklet to encourage individuals who don’t normally join in Morning and Evening Prayer, with an encouragement at the end to keep going (size A5).

The Prayer Journal - this journal encourages people to sketch and scribble thoughts, prayers and any answers as they go through the eleven days, with a different theme for each day. It has been designed with youth and young people in mind, but would work for all ages. Interactive and creative, this will make it easy for people to get involved (size A6).

The Novena - each page has a beautiful piece of artwork, devotional guidance, a Bible passage and prayer. The little Novena booklets are to encourage prayer, reflection and even group study (size A6).

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Helena Moss.
