Diocesan Safeguarding Caseworker

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Diocese of Birmingham's Safeguarding Team as a Diocesan Safeguarding Caseworker. The role is central to ensuring that children, young people, and adults at risk are safeguarded through the effective management of safeguarding concerns, the provision of trauma-informed support, and collaborative working with clergy, parishes, statutory agencies, and partner organisations. Working within the Church of England's safeguarding policies and national standards, you will contribute to creating a culture where safeguarding is embedded in every aspect of ministry, ensuring concerns are managed with professionalism, compassion, and accountability.

Older People's Community Worker - St Boniface Church, Quinton

St Boniface is a welcoming and vibrant parish church serving the community of Quinton. We are a family church with people of different ages and backgrounds and are committed to serving our local community and helping people experience friendship, belonging and connection. Over the past three years, we have developed a successful programme of work with people in later life, including Tuesday Treasures, our weekly social group, home visiting and other activities. This work is supported by a committed team of volunteers and has provided an important source of friendship and connection for many people. We are now looking for someone to build on this strong foundation and help us extend its reach further into the wider community.

Youth Pastor - Gas Street (South)

The Youth Pastor (South) will lead, disciple and nurture the spirituality of young people (11-18) who attend GS South, helping them to grow in their faith of Jesus Christ and integrating them into the life of the wider church. They will also ensure that all youth ministry activities are carried out in a safe and welcoming environment that prioritises the safeguarding and wellbeing of all young people. They will be responsible for planning and delivering the weekly programme at GS South, while also building on our strong team of brilliant volunteers; supporting, encouraging, developing leaders and a growing team. They will prepare the content of the weekly programme ensuring cohesion with the wider vision and values of Gas Street Church.

Priest in Charge - Hall Green, St Peter and Hall Green, St Michael
