The Head of Growing Younger will provide strategic leadership for Growing Younger across Church of England Birmingham. Working with clergy, lay leaders, schools, children and youth practitioners and diocesan colleagues, the postholder will help create the conditions in which churches of every tradition, size and context can engage more effectively with younger generations.
We are a warm and welcoming conservative evangelical church within the Church of England – Birmingham, seeking to ‘know Jesus and make Jesus known’ through Christ-centred biblical teaching and loving fellowship. We are looking to recruit a Church Manager to support this mission, enabling the clergy and other ministry leaders to focus on teaching, pastoral care, and evangelism by ensuring the church functions efficiently, legally, and sustainably.
To act as the lead professional Building Surveyor for Church Planting and Revitalisation projects across the Diocese, providing technical advice, condition assessment, defect diagnosis, statutory compliance support, heritage consultation and project delivery expertise.
