Join us for an open event on 26 February for those interested in clergy roles in Church of England Birmingham.
New Diocesan Secretary Andy Winmill will bring extensive strategic and missional experience to this crucial leadership role across the Church of England in Birmingham.
St Patrick’s Primary School in Solihull has had a keen eye on ‘going green’, for a few years. Their sustainability work is school wide and gains the support of governors and parents, who all agree that this is the right way for the school to go.

St Martin’s in the Bullring hosted a joyful and inspiring service on Sunday evening to celebrate a significant environmental milestone for the Diocese. Members of congregations from across Birmingham, along with members of the public, gathered in the heart of the city to mark Church of England Birmingham being awarded the Silver Eco Diocese Award by A Rocha UK.

On Saturday, 5th July, on a warm July morning, friends and family were welcomed at Birmingham Cathedral and shown to their seats as they gathered to witness the ordination of their loved ones as priests.
On Saturday, 5th July, in the afternoon, many smiling family members gathered in Birmingham Cathedral to support and celebrate their loved ones being ordained as Deacons. The congregation filled the cathedral for this powerful celebration.
